The King of Jordan

On Saturday morning Lila and I will be taking a boat across the Gulf of Aqaba, at the top of the Red Sea, to the country of Jordan. For those of you who don’t know much, if anything, about Jordan – this is a really cool intro video about the country and its young king. Other interesting facts about Jordan:

-Due to its more liberal social and political social leanings, Jordan has a reputation as being the Switzerland of the Middle East.

-The king of Jordan was educated in the United States. His mother was British.

-Jordan is a monarchy
